As predicted by the Mr. Charlie Oppenheim of the Department of State's Visa Office in October and posted on our blog, EB-2 India retrogresses severely in December by 43 months to 11/15/2004. EB-3 India retrogresses by three weeks to 09/01/2003. India's retrogression is a result of the large number of cases filed due to the rapid advancement in cutoff dates since the beginning of the fiscal year. On the other hand, EB-3 "other workers" for China, Mexico and Other Countries advance one year to 10/01/2001. Family First Preference (F-1) China, India and Other Countries move forward by three weeks. F-2A is unchanged for all countries while F2B China, India and Other Countries all advance five weeks to 05/01/2006.
